About

Why LCSW? As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) our core values include service to our client and community, social justice, dignity and worth of person, importance of human relationships, integrity and competence. I chose the Social Work profession because while in the foster care system as an adolescent and teenager, a wonderful social worker facilitated change and empowered me to choose the direction of my life. In my practice, I acknowledge that you are the expert of your story so we build on your self-determination and strengths. I believe in holistic treatment-our mental, physical and social are all interconnected and have worked closely with my clients’ providers as an interdisciplinary team member. Therapeutic approaches include Client Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Guided Imagery, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Motivational Interviewing,

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jay, my Bichon-Salty, my grown children and my 18 grandchildren.

My clients are usually 18 years or older.  I can meet with you either in person or via telecommunication. I offer a free 15-minute consult over the phone.

My hours of operation are reserved to evenings and Saturdays.
